See a competitor's Facebook and TikTok ads
Vueko records the Meta ads of the stores it follows and, for their ads most seen in Europe, the reach published by Meta. When you open their store page, it also looks up their TikTok ads, if their website points to a TikTok account. You see what a competitor is running, for how long, and how many people its most seen Meta ads have reached in the European Union. These ads are included in the paid plans.

Its active Facebook ads, and the ones it has stopped
For each store, Vueko looks up its ads in Meta's ad library, the one that covers Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads. An ad that ran in the European Union stays there for a year after it last ran: the store page therefore also shows stopped ads, with their dates.
Each ad carries its status. “Active”: a recent search saw it running. “Stopped”: it is no longer running. “No longer seen”: seen running, then missing from our latest checks, with no certainty yet that it has stopped. Its length is counted in days: how long it has been running, or how long it ran.
Videos play inside Vueko; if one is not there yet, a click fetches it, as long as it is still available. Each ad shows what we have recorded of it: its visual, its text, its button and the link to its landing page. On the store page, a chart shows, week by week over a year, how many of its Meta ads that ran in the European Union were active. It only draws the weeks in which our list of its ads is complete, and marks the others “Partial history” rather than showing a misleading bar.
Meta ad reach in Europe: a published figure
Under the European Digital Services Act, Meta publishes, for every ad that runs in the European Union, the number of people it reached, country by country. Vueko shows it as is, and the ad's page gives the day it was recorded: it is a running total, in unique people, from the start of the ad up to that day. It is neither an estimate nor a number of visits.
This data has a rare quality: it has no threshold. A small store appears in it as precisely as a big brand. It also has its limit: outside the European Union, Meta does not publish the reach of a commercial ad, and the store page says so instead of inventing a figure.
Up to eight ads per store also carry their rank, by reach in Europe: “No. 1 of 8 in this store” is the one that reached the most people among those whose reach we have recorded. You know straight away whether you are looking at its most seen ad, or one of those that follow it.
Estimated spend, and what it does not tell you
From the published reach, Vueko estimates what the ad cost: the number of people reached, two impressions per person, and the published prices of a thousand impressions for each country where it ran, adjusted by month. The ad shows a spend per day, calculated at the lowest price, and a high assumption, calculated at the highest price.
These are estimates, labeled as such. The high assumption is not a ceiling: an ad that has run for months has reached the same person far more than twice, and probably cost more. Delivery outside the European Union and TikTok ads are not counted.
For the store as a whole, “At a glance” gives a minimum: at least so many euros per day, based on so many ads whose reach has been read out of those that ran. Ads launched on the same day count as a single campaign: only the largest goes into the total, so the figure is not inflated. Our ad spend calculation method lists the sources of the impression prices, country by country, and its limits.
What each ad shows, and where it comes from
Three figures show their source through their shape: reach in Europe, the TikTok audience and the estimated spend. A solid dot marks a published fact that anyone can check; a hollow ring, a Vueko calculation, shown as an estimate.
- Published fact:
Reach in Europe
Published by Meta, ad by ad, for ads that ran in the European Union.
- Published fact:
TikTok audience
Published by TikTok, as a range, for ads that ran in Europe.
- Vueko estimate:
Spend per day
Our estimate, at the lowest impression price, with its high assumption.
Its TikTok ads, on demand
TikTok's ad library only covers ads that run in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Vueko checks it when a store page is opened, within a daily number of searches, then keeps its answer for seven days: reopening the page in that time does not start a new search, unless the store has changed TikTok account.
A TikTok ad only appears if its link to the store is confirmed: the store's website points to that TikTok account, and the advertiser's name matches. A similar name is not enough. If the website does not publish a TikTok account, nothing is searched, and the store page says so.
TikTok publishes neither the reach nor the spend of its ads: only an estimated audience, as a range. The store page therefore shows the video, the days it ran, the ad's status and that range, with nothing added, as well as the account itself: its followers, its likes and its videos.
The Meta ads in our database, without searching
The Ads screen brings together the Meta ads of the stores in our database, running or recently stopped: the longest runs first, ads with no visual or a tiny spend at the end of the list. Filter by niche, by main ad country, by store language, by network, by minimum length or by first run date.
Each ad leads to its store's page, and the “Create my store in this style” button opens the Shopify store generator already filled in from that store: its niche, the main country of its ads and the products its ads lead to. Opened from the store page or from the ad's page, it also takes its colors, when we could record them. To start from stores rather than ads, see how Vueko finds successful Shopify stores.
