Published factEstimate
The last column is what few tools compute: working back through click-through rate and frequency gives the number of people you would need to reach with advertising to produce those visits.
Meta ad budget = impressions needed × CPM ÷ 1,000, at France's CPM for October: the full range, because you may need more. In the most expensive month (November), the CPM rises to €7.20 – €11.20. Published, dated and sourced values on the methodology page; assumption: country CPM × month index; location fees Meta bills on top are not counted.

Frequently asked questions
- Where do the sector values come from?
- From published market averages, cross-checked across several sources, for which we keep the consultation date. We neither invent them nor recompute them on our own data.
- Why calculate per sector rather than one blanket average?
- Because the gap is large. A high average basket needs far fewer visitors for the same revenue. Applying one constant across all sectors gives a wrong answer for almost everyone.
- Does this result apply to my store?
- It is a sector order of magnitude, not a forecast. Your actual conversion rate and basket may differ noticeably from your sector's average.
